Amount of servings: 4 people/cups
Ingredients:
6 cups of water
2 inch cinnamon stick
2 tsp coarsely grounded peppercorn
2 tsp coarsely grounded cloves
1 tsp carom seeds
1 inch ginger grated
1/2 cup mint leaves washed and torn
2 tsp honey optional to serve
1 fistful holy basil , tulsi (optional)
3 tbs jaggery
5 bay leaves
4-5 green cardamom pods pounded
2 tbs coriander seeds
1 tsp licorice (mulethi)
1/4 tsp dry ginger powder
Cooking directions:
Pour the water in a saucepan with all the ingredients listed above. Reduce heat and cover the pan until 3 cups of water is left after boiling it. Then remove from heat.
Pour into cups! Drink once in the morning, and once before you go to sleep.
