Ingredients:
Any type of oil of your choice 2 spoons
1 cup of rice washed and soaked in two cups of water
Salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp of red chili pepper
2 cloves of Garlic
Cumin Seeds
2 cloves
1-inch long Cinnamon Stick
1 Black cardamom
2 Bay Leaves
1 chopped Onion
1 Diced Potato
1 Chopped Tomato
Half Cup of peas
Directions:
First, before everything, start washing the rice. After washing the rice, soak it in 2 cups of water for 30 minutes. Put the oil of your choice ( Mustard Oil Suggested ) in a medium heated pan and add 2 cloves of Garlic, Cumin Seeds, 2 cloves, 1-inch long Cinnamon Stick, 1 Black cardamom, 2 Bay Leaves, and 1 chopped Onion. Saut for a few minutes until the onions are kind of brown. Then add Turmeric, Chilli powder, and chopped tomato. Now Saut until the oil separates. Add the potato, peas, water with the rice in it, and salt for a great taste. Now keep it on medium heat for a pressure cook. Then when the whistle blows close the gas and wait for the steam to get out. Now it is ready to serve!
